Files
Overview
Tired of scrolling through one giant download list every time you need an old track? The Files feature lets you sort your generated voices, music, and stems into custom folders, so your projects stay organized instead of piling up in one place.
Everything you generate is still backed up automatically, but now you also have real control over where it lives and how it's grouped.
Key Features
- Custom Project Folders - Set up as many folders as you need, whenever you need them.
- Dual-Layer Navigation - Open a profile pop-up from a sidebar for fast access, or go full-screen when you need to dig in and organize properly.
- Bulk Project Management - Grab multiple Projects at once and move them in a single action.
- Multi-Select Actions - Drag to select multiple files at once, or click to select them individually, then pin, delete, or download them all in one go.
- Automatic Backups - Every generation lands in a "Recent" tab by default, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Best Practices
Getting Organized
- Set up your folders before you start a big session; it's much easier than sorting afterward.
- Stick to naming conventions that make sense later, like "Synthwave Album 2026" or "Client X – Vocals."
- Switch between icon view and list view depending on how many files you're juggling.
Saving & Sorting
- Pin the folders you use most so they're always within reach.
- Don't stress about which folder a file "belongs" in - it's always sitting safely in your global history too.
Plan Availability
- Plus, Pro, and Studio: Full access to folders and bulk organization.
- Free: You can see the feature, but it's locked. You'll still get standard history, just no custom folders until you upgrade.
How to Use It
1. Open your dashboard - Click My Files in the side menu for the full view, or use the profile popup for quick access.
2. Create a folder -Hit New Folder, name it, and it shows up right away.
3. Generate something - Generate your Voice, Music, or Stem tool as usual, then hit Create.
4. Pick a destination - Once it's done processing, go to the generated item, click the three-dot menu, and select Add to Files. Choose a folder from there
5. Clean up in bulk - Select multiple files, hit Move, and drop them wherever they need to go.
6. Selecting Multiple Files - Click and drag across your files to select several at once, or hold Shift, click, and select them one by one. Once you've got your selection, a toolbar appears letting you pin, delete, or download everything you've picked in a single action.
A Couple of Tips
- Think of this less like a robot spitting out files and more like a workstation where you decide where things land.
- Don't worry about deleting a folder by mistake; the folder structure goes away, but your files stay put in Recent.
Where This Comes in Handy
- Album work - separate folders for stems, instrumentals, and vocals per track.
- Client projects - one folder per client or commercial job.
- A/B testing - a throwaway folder to compare different takes on the same prompt.
- Long sessions - let Recent act as your running log, then sort the keepers afterward.
